JV  COACH  - STEVEN ARGO

Coach Steven Argo is in his first year here at Duluth. He graduated from Alexander High School in Douglasville, Ga and continued his education at the Savannah College of Art and Design where he pursued his degree in product/industrial design.

While in high school, Argo played four years at shortstop. His high school team competed for the state championship twice and was ranked no.1 for majority of the season. During his junior year, his team set a school record of 23 straight wins. Coach Argo was named most valuable player twice, all-county, voted Georgia Dugout Club player of the week, and selected to play in the Georgia All-Star game. He also played football and basketball in high school. While at SCAD, Argo was part of a team that was ranked no.24 nationally in NAIA and set a school record of 32 wins. A switch hitting dual player, Argo was also named Florida Sun Conference player of the week.

A continual student of the game, Argo strives to make a difference in the classroom and on the field. He works within the special education department here at Duluth. Coach Argo has two cats, one of which he has “coached” to catch.
